Where do I buy my package during an open Wave?

You will find the Register button on the homepage which will redirect you to Rotaract Mediteranean Packages to select your package/s, once you selected you will taken to the Helloasso payment page. The payment page is only available in French, so make sure to use your Google Chrome browser which offers automatic translation to the language of your choice.

Payment process differs in whether you will be using a European bank card or one from outside of EU. See below:

– From EU: Purchase your package via your Visa or Mastercard credit/debit card upon registration

– From outside of EU: You can purchase your package only with payment via bank transfer, Western Union and Moneygram. You will need to register on Helloasso and on the payment page enter the Promo code OUTSIDE-EU. The payment page will show that no payment is needed at that moment and confirm your package has been reserved. We will send you an e-mail with the payment options, you will have 5 working days to send us proof of payment otherwise the package will be released for sale at the next Wave.

Which countries are in EU and which are outside of EU?

Based on countries of Rotaract Mediterranean MDIO and District 2452

EU: Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Monaco, Slovenia, Spain, Georgia

Non-EU: Albania, Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Montenegro, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Jordan, UAE, Armenia, Palestine, Kingdom of Bahrain and Bosnia and Herzegovina

Why is the Payment page in French?

The Payment page of Helloasso is unfortunately for the time being only available in French. However, we assure you that all your data is safe at all times and you can proceed with your purchase at comfort when using Google Chrome browser which offers automatic translation to the language of your choice.

HelloAsso is registered with ORIAS under the number 17002233 and is a partner of Lemonway, a payment institution approved by the ACPR in France on 24/12/2012 under the number 16568J.

Where do I register for the Rotaract District 2452 Conference?

The 8th Rotaract District 2452 Conference is jointly hosted with Medicon 2021 Cyprus. As it’s one big event all registrations and purchase of packages happens at the same place on Medicon website.

Do I need a COVID test to come to Cyprus?

At the moment travelers need to present a negative PCR test result upon arrival that is not older than 72 hours along with a Cyprus Flight Pass which can be obtained on Cyprus Fligh Pass

However, according to national announcements as of 1st March, 2021 any travelers that hold a negative PCR test may enter Cyprus without restrictions.

What will happen if I am positive to Covid-19 at the time of arrival to Cyprus?

The airport reserves the right to perform random rapid tests upon arrival to Cyprus and should anyone appear to be positive to Covid-19 he/she will be obliged to stay in 14 days self-isolation at accommodation provided by the State while all stay and medical expenses will be covered.

What will happen if Cyprus introduces last minute Covid-19 restrictions and the event is canceled?

Cyprus has started vaccinations since 27th December, 2020 with the plan for the 70% of the population to be vaccinated by March, therefore travel restrictions are expected to be removed however should there be changes all Participants will be informed directly. If the event is canceled due to national measures all participants will be refunded.

What will happen if I get a positive PCR test 72 hours before arriving to Cyprus?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last minute refunds however you will be given the opportunity to resell your package to a Participant who will be able to travel instead. Anyone who arrives to Cyprus with a positive PCR test result will be obliged to remain in self-isolation for 14 days in Cyprus.

How I am going to get to Ayia Napa?

The nearest airport to Ayia Napa is Larnaca International Airport (Glafkos Klirides Airport) which is 40min drive. You can also arrive at the Paphos International Airport which is 1h 40min drive.

Where are the MEDICON 2021 Cyprus hotels located?

The hotels are located in Ayia Napa. The names of the two hotels are Atlantica Mare Village & Atlantica Sungarden Beach. The Atlantica Mare Village is a 5-star hotel located at (74, Cavo Greco Avenue Str. Ayia Napa 5330). The Atlantica Sungarden Beach is the 4-star hotel located at (46, Kyrou Nerou Str. Ayia Napa 5344).

Both hotels are under Atlantica Hotels group, exclusive supporter of Medicon 2021 Cyprus and the first hotel chain to obtain the Covid-19 Shield Certification.

Do I need to buy a public transportation ticket?

We have organized transportation to all the venues of the MEDICON such as attending the opening ceremony, parties etc.

You might need a ticket for attending other activities which are not included in the program.

You can buy tickets at every station and at the airport.

The single route ticket costs €1.50

Is there an airport shuttle?

We have organized a shuttle from and to Larnaca International Airport with Kapnos Airport Shuttle.

A part of MEDICON team will be at the airport for some of the arrivals to help you find the way to your hotel and venue.

Where will I stay?

All the participants will stay either at Atlantica Mare Village or Atlantica Sungarden Hotel in Ayia Napa. The hotels are close to the center of the town and also at the beach. You can find more information about the hotels and their facilities at their official website.

How many participants can stay in one room?

All rooms are standard double rooms with a queen size bed.

Can I have a single room?

The venue hotel is the Atlantica Mare Village where registrations upon arrival will take place as well as the 9th Mediterranean Peace Forum.

Does the hotel have a parking?

Yes, the hotel has its own parking area in front of the hotel.

Does the hotel provide breakfast?

Breakfast is included with your package from the hotel that you have purchased.

Do I need cash?

Almost everyone such as supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, clubs, lounges, shops etc. are accepting card payments, but have in mind that you might need some cash for small purchases at shops and cafes. You can also withdraw cash from an ATM which are located almost everywhere in Ayia Napa.

What currency are they using in Cyprus?

The currency that we are using in Cyprus is Euro, but if you are holding cash with different currency you can exchange them to Euro at the exchange point at the airport or in an exchange shop in Ayia Napa.

Does Ayia Napa has any shops that I can buy things?

Of course, there are many shops in Ayia Napa to buy almost everything such as clothes, accessories etc. but, if you need to shop specific items you can visit the nearest shopping area which is in Paralimni with approximately 15min drive.

What time do the shops close in Ayia Napa?

The regular time that the shops are closing is at 20:00 p.m, but have in mind that most of the shops are 24/7h.

Are there any parties we can attend for drinks and dance there?

You will drink, dance and have the best time of your life at our Friday Night Party and the Gala Dinner, but of course you can extend your partying experience at the clubs and bars in Ayia Napa.

Is there any vegan, gluten free etc. option of food?

Yes, the menu has a variety of different food choices but if you have any specific requirements please tell us in advance.

Is the conference in English?

Yes.
